Longitude to help support the continued advancement of specialty pharmacy at UHealth-University of Miami Health System
DALLAS, TX [October 22,2026] Longitude Rx, a health system owned specialty pharmacy services organization, today announced a working arrangement with UHealth – University of Miami Health System to support the continued advancement of UHealth’s specialty pharmacy program and the patients and communities it serves.
As South Florida’s only academic health system, UHealth provides highly specialized care across a broad range of complex conditions through nationally recognized programs, including Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Its specialty pharmacy program plays an important role in helping patients access and remain connected to therapies prescribed by their UHealth care teams.
Under the agreement, Longitude Rx’s will provide support services to UHealth leveraging its specialized expertise, technology enabled solutions and health system focused model. The services are intended to support UHealth’s existing specialty pharmacy operations, with a focus on enhancing patient access and greater continuity across the specialty medication journey.
